Story Driven Game

Hey, for my Computer Studies class we had to make a game. I decided to take a non-traditional outlet and create a game that is more story driven than action heavy (Similar to TellTale Games). Today is peer edit, and I would love to have you guys check it out as well. Here is the download link

The game seems nicely set up, but all I ended up doing was walk through walls and trees, pick up a little girl, then get reset by some guys in a lake. I wasn't really sure what any of it meant.

Some clues as to what everything means, who I am, and what I'm supposed to be doing would be nice.

Also, maybe you could find a way to incorporate collision detection, or reduce the number of objects in the game to make it run more smoothly?

I can't load it. The file type is wrong, and I tried extracting files, but that didn't make a difference.
