Does anyone know where the name alice came from? Is it related to the person who invented the program or could it be somehow related to the alice from wonderland because of the programs ability to create animations. Greatly appreciated if anyone can help me out.

According to page 7, Learning to Program With Alice, ..."The team named the system "Alice" in honor of Charles Lutwidge Dodson, an English mathematician and logician who wrote under the pen name Lewis Carroll. Carroll wrote Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass."

Have a great day. :)
