View Full Version : Alice on MAC OSX Leopard 10.5
I noticed there are downloads for 10.3 - Panther and 10.4 - Tiger. Will the 10.4 version work on 10.5 - Leopard? I searched the forums and only found 1 thread that mentioned 10.5 or Leopard.
If the 10.4 version is supported on Leopard, maybe someone can change the download site to indicate that.
Thanks.

I have installed the 10.4 version on an 24" iMac, and there are issues. Mainly shadows seem to freak out.

I have installed alice (most recent version) on apple's amazing new osx 10.5.2, more commonly known as "leopard". there are no issues, other than that objects only display at 0% opacity or 100% opacity. there is nothing in between. Also, some minor issues with sleeping. all you need to is click on the icon in the dock and then restore the application from whatever you call the area apps go when you minimize them.
the only main thing that may bother you is speed. if your mac is one of the first intel macs, rosetta, its powerpc-intel translator may not run the problem at very wicked speeds. hopefully it will run fast enough though. it probably wont be an issue.
