To code Alice apps with real physics models, it would seem necessary to be able to query the time elapsed between frames, or to have the Alice environment guarantee a fixed frame rate. I don't see any way to do either of these things.

So is it possible to code a geniune physics model in Alice?

I'm not an Alice or a coding expert but I seriously doubt it. Won't being getting a Havok engine in there anytime soon. Maybe the developers should code it into Alice.:rolleyes:

I'm relatively new to Alice and just working through old postings. Both this one and the question on the walk method confuse me. Please see my comments in the walk method question.
