Searchable pdf version of book online?

Any chance there might be made available a searchable pdf version of this GREAT book?

Unfortunately, Prentice Hall will not allow us to place the entire book as a PDF online. The first couple of chapters are available at www.aliceprogramming.net

Presumably, a SafariU version of the Alice book would meet the "searching" needs. I'm pretty sure I heard someone from PH say that it would be in Safari - the question seems to be *when*?

I contacted our editor, Tracy Dunkelberger, and here is Tracy's reply:

The Alice SafariX product has been available since August 2005 and can be
accessed at www.safarix.com. Search by title. Alice is available for $23.50.
