I am currently working on my graduate thesis. It is a phenomenological study about the essence of learning from online games and simulations. I was recently introduced to Alice and started glancing at the site to see if this software could add value to my study. I am left with a few questions and was wondering if anyone could help me with the following questions:
1). Is Alice constructivist?
2). Is the learner "in charge" of the learning?
3). Does it challenge the learner to create and then provide feedback with depth?
4). Are learners required to understand the structure of the language or do they just follow what the program tells them?
Any help is much appreciated--thanks.
