How do I create objects?

I want to be able to create actual signs... or billboards that would say something like "Welcome to New York". How would I be able to create an object that would do that? Is there an Alice Object Creator I can use?

There is no Alice "Object Creator." Almost any graphics program can create the art for a billboard - if you want transparency, the .png format is recommended.

I'd recomend following these steps:


Create a square from the "shapes" section of the "object gallery".
Create 3D text.
Put the 3D text in a postion so that it looks as though it's connected to your square.
Set the 3D text's vehicle as the square.
