I have a Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit system with 4 gig of ram and an ASUS Crosshair MOBO with dual Nvidia 7600 SLT video cards (SLT is not enabled) hooked up to a pair of Viewsonic 19" monitors.
At school we have brand new MAC's dual booting and I always boot to Vista, it has a single monitor and runs Alice perfectly.
Now here is the problem, when Alice is running on my system everything is slow, except the "Play" mode which is normal. The cursor jerks around badly. After several hours of experimenting, by experimenting I mean adding/removing memory, plugging the monitors into different ports on different video cards, removing one of the video cards and a few other minor things. I have found that if I run Alice in single monitor mode, the other removed logically (not necessarily physically) Alice runs perfect. As soon as I logically turn on the second monitor Alice goes back to being slow. It seems no one at school is running dual monitors and the instructor suggested I get in touch with you all.
Is this normal for Alice 2.0 and 2.2?? Is there any thing I can do about it?? At present I switch between my two systems, the other is a single monitor XP Pro.

If anything, I'd call it a Vista issue. That, or Alice is having some problem with the 64-bit OS.

I'm always running 2 programs of Alice at once, with one being on both monitor. Though I am using 32-bit XP.

Has anyone in the community successfully run Alice with 64-bit Vista?

I converted the same system back to XP Pro with dual monitors. Alice now runs correctly, in the primary monitor. There is no jerkyness to the cursor when moving across the screen.
When I move Alice to the secondary monitor, then I have the same problem, in that there is no drag and drop. I can run "Play".
