Problem with pointing faces

I sometimes can't get faces to point at the people I ask them to. If I program the neck or head on person X to face person Y, then person X will look in the opposite direction! What am I doing wrong?

Which characters have you tried this with? Have you checked out which way their blue axis is pointing? Especially for the parts that you are turning (like the head and upper body.)

Since the Alice models were generated by many people - and no design specification, :( there is really no standard orientation.

You just have to experiment with every object - not a bad thing for learning but something that would be a real pain in a commercial environment.

Remember Alice was designed as a teaching tool. :)
