Brand New

I am brand new to programming. We just added little "clubs" at our school. and 20 minutes a week for programming isn't cutting it. I've completed all the tutorials, yet I feel as if I know very little about the program. Any hints or tips?
I'm mostly looking to create a game

I am sort of in the same proverbial boat in regards to this program. Read through the forums at other people's questions. You will learn things just by doing that. There are some very knowledgeable people on this forum.
Use the search function if you have something in particular you are looking for, but if that proves of little value, ask your question(s) in the appropriate area.

This gives a link to a listing of all of the Alice worlds that have been posted in the forum. Looking at some of the worlds that sound interesting is a great way to get started.
