I have a model that i uploaded but it only has 2 parts,one being the body and other being the eyes. I was wondering if in Alice I could somehow create extra parts, like make vertices around arms and control them like that.
any ideas?

Unfortunately, doing that in Alice is nearly impossible (not completely - but very time consuming and generally unrealistic). Your best approach is probably to edit the object in something like Anim8or before importing it into Alice.
There are some hints on this in the Share Objects section of this forum - but again none that are particularly easy to implement.
