hello, me again... I was trying to import a .jpeg billboard and it just disappears (or doesn't turn up)! How do you use it?

I am not sure of your problem, but it may be this. When you load it into your world, go to File>Make Billboard. Make sure you do not hit import, which is a common mistake and will not work.

Some other possibilities - simple errors after you figure them out but sometimes that takes a while. :o

1. Make sure "is showing" is true and that the billboard is not transparent.
2. Make sure the billboard is facing the camera. Generally only one side of a billboard will show - looking at it from the back it appears transparent.
3. Make sure your image isn't too large or too small. I like to start with a 256x256 pixel image and work up or down from there.
4. Make sure the .jpeg file isn't corrupted (i.e., preview it or look at in in Paint). This doesn't happen often - but a bad file is usually really bad. :eek:
