I am pretty new to alice and i just made my own character. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to make the characters arms rest by their sides?

Just right click on the character in the world window and use the appropriate methods to set the character in the position(s) you want. If you want multiple poses - use "capture pose" for each of the positions you want to save.
