If my Object gets to far from the center of the screen I want it to reverse course, how do i write that?

You are going to have to drop a dummy object and keep within your desired distance from that.
Since a screen display is 2D - and depends on the camera position - it's very difficult to work with that. Alice is truely a 3D environment. :)
