Hang up in tutorial 4

When I first went through tutorial 4 I didn't notice that it said to click on the grass world (~page 10). Okay, went back and changed that, then on page 14, I got:

"Alice - error" dialog box
"Error changing gallery level home/local gallery"
It then wouldn't go any further. I had to force quit the program. I started up again, same problem. I tried to find a preference, but was unsuccessful. Deleted the program, then reinstalled it from the disk image, same problem. Now, it quits by itself when it gets to this point.

Any ideas of what I can do no. Working on a Mac OS 10.5.7, 2G RAM

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? We just start using ALICE today and would like to finish the Tutorial

To the best of my, and my teacher's, knowledge Alice doesn't work on Macs...The alice techs are working on it, but for now it's for the PC.

All the Alice tutorials are working for the MACs now. Download the new Alice 2.2 version. Another version is coming out soon (5/1/2010).
