In my game, i want the camera to hover over my character . . . Is that possible?
I also want to link my character to the car when he drives.

to make a camera follow an item in alice you have to move/place the camera to/in the location you want. Next right click, choose the methods section and third from the bottom is the "set vechicle to" option. choose your character from the next menu then choose what you want the camera to follow. Now the camera will move with the item. You still will have to animate any motions manually.
for the car/person thing same idea just different objects. And maybe it would be a good idea to make the person invisible (set opacity to 0%) when he gets in the car to make it easier.
