Just click on more for "Play Sound" and you get a volumeLevel control - and it works, except for numbers significantly greater than 1 (obviously there is a hardware limit).

But in your method, won't that play your sound three times because of the three functions?

Also, the program will check to see that the volume control actually has an effect - something I wouldn't guarentee with all hardware, especially machines with older sound cards.
