Some type of text mode?

I have been programming for years, and they are still focing me to take intro to programming :(

I know how to program and I don't need or want drag and drop stuff, all this does is slow me down, and having to drag and drag and drag to get something where I want I can only do about 10 lines a hour this way...

I wanna know if I can disable drag and drop (without rewritting the source code). If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it :)

You mention "...they are still focing me to take intro to programming". I would offer that the problem is not here, you may wish to speak with whomever "they" are.

Since you can not disable the 'drag-and-drop' ability of Alice on your own I suggest that maybe it might be wise to continue with the course. Perhaps at the end of the course, they will share with you how to so something that as a programmer you can not do, stop using drag-and-drop techniques.
