Is anyone running this on Windows 7? I can't get it to open. The older version of Alice seems to work though.

I am running Alice 2.2 just fine on Windows 7. Can you expand on the problem?

I have the same issue with Alice 2.2 on windows 7 64 bits.
I gave some details in this thread http://www.alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=3913

Try this:

Right click on the application, ans select properties. Under compatibility, select Run in compatibility mode for XP. Start Alice, and see if it works.:)

I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and I have no problems and Alice Glitches almost never.(Except I screwed it up once but just downloaded it again and it worked fine) It must be your setup.

Did you get this problem solved with running Alice 2.2 in Windows 7? I am having some related problems (See http://www.alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=4090&highlight=windows) on my primary laptop.

I have tried all of the suggestions made here (except using Alice 2.0), and none seem to help.

try disabling ipv6, since in many cases, it slows the internet connection down a lot.
