do NOT install Snow Leopard if you have a mac. As soon as I did, Alice stopped working. It used to work, on my 10.5, but then when I upgraded, it stopped working. It does not open. Alice 2.0, Alice 2.2 and whatever does not work anymore.. the beta works, but it does not accept worlds from the old version... O... K... And I am taking a class where Alice is used. I can no longer work on my laptop. Thanks Apple, for screwing me, I REALLY appreciate it.

Alice is working on two macs (an old black MacBook and a new MacBook Pro) which I recently updated with Snow Leopard. Did you just do an update from Leopard or a new install ?

Alice 2 and 2.2 will not work on snow leopard. You'll have to download Alice ver 3 beta but you won't be able to open projects from previous version in version 3 beta. goodluck.

Ive just upgraded also to snow leopard, and alice stop working, it sucks.... do u think in a few time, alice 2.2 could work for snow leopard? i needit for college. and we dont use 3.0

That's rough. I don't use MACs, but I've heard Alice is much more difficult to get working on MACs than on PCs. If I was you, I'd try re-installing Alice first to see if that helped (also try and use Alice 2.0 and SlowandSteady Alice to see if they work). If not, see if you can get a virtual machine to emulate windows so you can use the windows version of Alice. If you can't, you'll have to find another computer with an OS that Alice works with.

FALL3N, i recently had this problem, and re installing did not work, if you need help, ill ask my dad what he did to fix it
Sorry I haven't responded to this sooner. I will look into how to get Alice working on 10.6. I remember this coming up earlier but I think winter break may have let it slip.
