Is it possible to edit textures of objects that can only be found in the web gallery?

I want to edit the texture of the space ship found in the sci-fi tab under web gallery but am currently unable to find it. I found the folder that contains all of the pre-existing objects that come with alice, but cant find the web gallery. Is this even possible? I tried saving the object to the desktop and extracting it, but when you save an object, you don't save the texture... only the object itself. Has anyone done this before? It would be tremendous amount of help on my next project.

I'm getting deja vu...

Download the object from the 3d gallery, extract the files (either use 7-zip or change the extension to .zip and unzip it), then find the texture images in the folders (they're usually jpegs) and open them up in a photo-editor.

I checked and the two textures available are in folders called "MomBod and Mombombs"

To prove they can be edited, I colored the cockpit and the back fins red, then saved the image (in .png form) over the existing texture, since Alice calls that texture when it loads the object.

Here's the zip file and the edited texture.

Okay, thanks for the file, now I need to learn how to do it myself and still can't figure it out. This is exactly what I am doing. Tell me what I am doing wrong.

1. Right click on the space ship and click on save object
2. Save it to desktop
3. Open up winzip and zip the file
4. When I click on the file located on the desktop, only 4 folders appear:

\dropdeck
\mothership
dropdeck
mothership

None of these folders have any textures in it. What did you do exactly?

-Save the object
-Extract all files from the .a2c file (I used 7-zip, that might make a difference)
-Search the extracted files for textures and edit them
-Zip all files in main folder (not the folder itself) and change extension to .a2c
