Any complaints post here

What about all the contestants that are not as experienced? What if they dont know as much as we know, thats not fair for them. I think thix contest should be broken up to level of experience

In a contest, people with more skill win. That's why it's called a contest!

This kind of thing actually belongs in the main contest thread, as I did say that questions and entries should be posted there.

Still, I disagree. The difference in experience is what makes for an exciting contest, in my opinion. Besides, it would be too difficult to do so, anyway. I probably have the most experience using Alice in general, but chris has lots of graphics experience (as evidenced by his nice custom textures in the beta engine), zone has the most advanced coding experience, and you have the most FPS creation experience. Essentially, the contest's excitement and intrigue comes from the difference in skills we all have.

How flattering! I love coding! In fact, speaking of coding, I found an awesome way to make collision detection! Try it, here (http://alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=3994)!

maybe contests for best "junior" member game
best "member" game
and best "senior member" game

the junior member/member/senior member has only to do with posts, and very little at that. Anyone above 50 posts (whether it's 51 or 1051) is senior member. Next to that I don't think that any breaking up would be possible as I for one wouldn't know who would fall into the different categories. And even IF I had an idea of who to put in which class: who would I be to make such a decision.

I think it's a cool contest and I don't really think jedi or zone would have less chance of winning that x2495 would have. I think that if I had the time to actually make something, I might even have a go for the title. Not to put your experience down and I don't expect to win on knowledge of the program, graphics or coding, but I might think of something so original that I'd be voted winner, regardless of my lack of experience in regard to you big boys :)

So to cut it short: I think everyone in the competition has a shot at that title and those with less knowledge of one part may well be capable of thinking of something else they can do to overcome that lack.
