Saving Alice worlds on a network

Hiya

My class work in a thin-client environment, and the client sessions are distributed across two servers. Alice does not seem to permit network drives to be accessed. Each student has his own home directory, but Alice won't show it.
Any ideas on how to get around this?

I know this'll sound a bit simple, but have you tried going into your alice directory and copying your world files (.a2w) into a sort of 'shared documents' folder on your network?
