Change Gallery Pics TuT

This is fairly simple... i just got bored and decided i didnt like the gay little pics they used for the gallery....so.....i decided to customize :)

1. Find a pic u like better than the gallery pic.
2. Use any form of program to resize ur pic to 128x128(default gallery size)
3. save ur pic as directoryThumbnail.png
4. now go here C:\Documents and Settings\(USERNAME)\Desktop\Alice\Required\gallery
5. choose ur category.....i chose animals C:\Documents and Settings\(USERNAME)\Desktop\Alice\Required\gallery \Animals
6.Now i suggest u make a copy of the orignial gallery pic(gallery pic= directoryThumbnail.png)
7. now simply replace YOUR pic which should be named directoryThumbnail.png with the orig directory thumbnail.
8. Now run alice and it should look like this(pic can be found below) i had to upload the pic since imageshack is blocked in school.

It's even more fun to go into the .a2c file for an object and change the skin texture - try the attached on the Zombie. :)

I STRONGLY !!! recommend you do this with a copy of the model file - it's very easy to screw up! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! :D

You may have to use something other than the Zip extractor that comes with XP to extract from the .a2c. I generally use 7-Zip but think the .rar extractor also works (don't have it on this computer and can't remember the name of the program).

Note: Just import this as a new texture - don't try to add it to the model file directly.

Seriously, I've been thinking of trying to do something of my own like this, but without the zombies...... they still hate me after what happened last time............. ;)
