***EDIT***
I attached the TOP N00B world in the third post. Original link was broken. >_<
***/EDIT***
Hi all,
I am in a CS3 (intro to compute systems) class at Santa Monica College and created a movie called TOP N00B with the ALICE 2.0 engine. I used the introduction soundtrack from the computer game FALCON 4.0 to add some more flare to the movie.
It's really messy, code wise, but I hope you all enjoy it!

 This doesnt even seem to work for me... Is it just me?
I saved it as a .a2w first, then let my computer save it as a zip... Wont let me open it in Alice...
Doesn't work for me, either.

Doh, I don't know why the file won't work. I attached the a2w file to this post though so hopefully this one works!
Thanks a bunch for taking the time to look at my movie and letting me know something was wrong.

I just finished watching your movie... and it is really good! I like it. The transition effects were very well done, and the music you added got you some extra Kudos points. :D :D :D
One question though: Why are the missiles made of syringes? I'm glad our military isn't like that!
Keep up the great work, bortin... you have some good ideas brewing, I can tell. :)

I couldn't get the first posting to play either. Glad you reposted it - very good, especially the way you matched the action to the sound. :)
I've also had some trouble going through some servers with "zipped" worlds - the server just keeps decompressing the files until it gets down to uncompressed data - which Alice doesn't seem to like. Never had the problem be consistant enough to figure it out exactly  - but putting the world in a folder with another simple uncompressed file (such as a simple .txt file) and then zipping the whole folder seems to avoid the problem.

Thanks for the feedback all, it encourages me to keep making stuff! Haha, yeah I used a syringe for a missile. It made sense when I made the decision at 4AM...
I'm turning this world in for my Lab assignment tomorrow.
I decided to make a game this time instead of a movie. It's really cheesy but it's due tomorrow, haha! Deadlines are good motivators! >_<
I didn't have time to find any external effects or music unfortunately. Mars Attacks! music would probably rock! Ack!Ack!

I was about to say, "The US must be developing a new missile that can poison things instead of blowing them up!" But the movie was really good, syringe or no.
