View Full Version : number problems

After a reinstallation of Alice I am getting an issue with numbers, the round function does not round and the way I get a plain integer as 3D text in Alice [randomNumber(max(#),min(#), integer only = true))] does not return a plain integer.
Also I am getting subtle error messages on Alice start and when saving, but these dont affect anything - or at least I havent noticed them affecting anything so far.
Might be other issues that I havent noticed yet, but none have arisen so far.

Any help? except from reinstall Alice, as I done a full clean download and orderly positioned the Alice folder on my system.

For the min/max thing, does it still return with a .0 at the end?

If so, you have the same problem as mine. Also check in your world functions under "math"; is there a "int <a> as a String?"

It's a party at Arty's!

My version also returns a .0 at the end, but you don't have the new function, and I do.

It's not really interfering with much, but no, I don't have a good conclusion.

what do you mean by "the new function"? I downloaded the latest version a couple of days ago.

Anyway, I will just use python to set my 3D text in the future, that works.
