So I have 3DS Max, and I would like to know what program you guys use to convert the 3DS Max object to an .A2C format? I have looked around and I have found a few programs, but I would like to know the best one (AKA which one do you use?) I am very close to finishing up one of my games, I just need some (self created) models and Im done. :)
Thanks!

You export as an .ase
Alice can import that

Or, just save it as a .3ds file and then convert it via BiTurn. Of which I officially love now.

How much does it cost?
I can't seem to convert any .max models because I don't have 3DS Max, which I believe is quite expensive.
X says: "You can find the price in a previous thread here (http://www.alice.org/community/showthread.php?p=14645#post14645)"
"You can also find a cool guy's guide to getting it free for like a year or something (if you're a student) here (http://www.alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=4775)"

Yes, AutoDesk 3DS Max is a very expensive program. It ranges from about $3000 to $4000 for the initial software if you buy it directly from AutoDesk. However, it is very easy to obtain a free trial version of this software. Also, I am sure that somebody offers a freeware software that will simply convert .3ds files to .ase or .a2c formats. I would recommend searching for a software that can simply convert .3ds files to .ase. This is most likely a much easier software to find considering the fact that Alice is not yet as popular as 3DS Max, therefore, finding a software that converts .3ds files directly to .a2c may be more difficult to find.

Thanks for the info. :)
Yeah, so I'll pull out the 30 $100 bills I have in my pocket right now... not. :(
I tried searching for some other program that would convert .max into pretty much anything else, but it seems to be exclusive. Any program that can do that also cost money 'cuz they need a license or something to incorporate .max.
Sucks for me.
