I've got a movie world I'm willing to share, but it's 8 MB, 7.5 when compressed, so I can't e-mail it or attach it. Any ideas of how I can get it to people?

Edit: gabe took care of it!

I have changed the max attachment size to be 15MB for files with zip and a2w file extensions. Hopefully it should work now.

crazychimp, thanks for taking the initiative to work out a way for people to share their worlds. I would prefer people stick to the forums when sharing their work, but if size becomes an issue, an alternative method such as gmail might be the way to go. :)

Great, thanks for doing that gabe.

Edit: Actually, it seems the limit is still 2 megs, I just tried uploading a world...

OK. I think I've figured it out. I need the edit the php.ini file manually to up the max attachment size. I don't know if I'll be able to get to this before Monday, but I will do my best. Thank you for you patience.

Apologies for the delay. Attachments larger than 1MB still aren't possible yet, but we're working on resolving this issue and hope to have it fixed sometime today (Tuesday).

Update:

Large attachment functionality still is not working correctly. In the meantime, we are going to try changing our file storage system in hopes that it fixes the problem and also prepare for the future when *hopefully* we'll have many contributed worlds to share, without any forum-slowdown.

We have finally pinpointed and fixed the upload probably. So if you want, definitely grab your worlds from the alice gmail account and stick them back on the forums.

You should see the good, old "the lounge" days. ;)
