H...I'm going to be teaching Alice second semester to juniors and seniors at our school. I've posted before because I had some problems with permissions and storing preferences on a networked machine. I have resolved those problems and did a final check of my computers yesterday. Alice 2.2 is installed and running great on all but two computers. When I launch Alice from those machines I immediately get an error stating that "the application is not configured correctly. Reinstalling may fix this problem" So I've deleted and reinstalled a few times. Once from a shared folder on the server and once by downloading from the site. Each time I get the same message. It will launch if I go into the program files and use the 'If Alice fails try this' ...but my students won't be able to access the program files. Any ideas?
