Since import and exportation (To an extent) of characters is a no-go, why not increase the program's compatibility with others before it's released? For one example, a format called .APNG (Animated PNG.) Straight forward, like a high quality .GIF. And to be more realistic, something I'm certain you've been gunning at for several years, support with multiple 3D editors, like Blender in particular.
Besides that, I was wondering, instead of "Lighter, Light, Dark, Darker" for skin tones, which is rather limited and best used as an example, you'd allow us the full RGB color picker for all of the character creation options.
