Need help with a textbook world

How would I make the Speed Control world from the textbook?

Attatched is my program, but the off button doesn't seem to work, and it will act strangely if you hit the medium button, then the low button, at like a half way speed below high.

No matter what, once I hit the high button, it doesn't turn to any other speed!

Can anyone help? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

I found one way to do it, thanks to my teacher. The link you gave me sounds a lot like our class, because the teacher is only a couple steps ahead of us, but luckily she has the finished programs, so I got a glimpse of what was wrong with mine. Thanks, Jim.:D

Like I said - a good problem. Hard enough to challenge everybody - but not so hard that the teacher can't stay ahead of the class. :D
