Alice on macOS

Hi community:

Maybe there should be a thread about "Alice on macOS".
* Why does Alice start using 100% of one of my CPU cores, start running the cooling fan, etc. when it's doing absolutely nothing, not running anything.
* Why is Alice so slow? When I just have 2 objects doing something every 0.25 sec, already Alice grinds to a crawl and can't keep up.

I've got a recent Intel Mac, Alice 2.2, MacOSX10.6.7.
Is Alice really only for PC, or is there something I can do to make the Mac port work?

It might just be that the Alice Team has not tested much on Mac because they made the software on windows so sorry about the speed but that is probably the program, not your laptop

I have Alice installed on my mac and so far works a lot better than my PC. I was using my PC but I had to switch 2 days ago to my Mac because the PC started to flicker. I am using Alice 2.2 in a MacOSX10.6.7, processor 2.4 GHz Intel.
