hockey: Swing

I am in a class currently where the assignment is to be able to click on big gumdrops to be able to make the person under class jock be able to move his arms to move a hockey stick to hit a puck into a hockey goal. THe problem is that I have no idea how to make his arms move with the puck or how to create something that looks similar to a swing
