Hi, dorel. Just to let you know, it can take awhile for people to reply (sometimes up to a day) to reply to an original post; so just wait patiently instead of creating another thread about the same topic. Anyways, you actually have the right to use Alice in any way you please, even if it's for making money, as long as you follow their terms and agreements on the license.

The license can be found here:
http://alice.org/index.php?page=license

Here is my interpretation of the four conditions of the license (I'm no legal person so I would consult a professional of your actually going to make money with this.)
1) Your product/distribution must retain the legal stuff on the Alice license webpage.
2) Even if your redistributing in binary form, condition one still applies.
3) You may not use the word "Alice" for the naming of your product without the consent of the organization that "owns" Alice.
4) You need to acknowledge the organization by putting "This product includes software developed by Carnegie Mellon University"

Do you want to develop and sell a modified Alice application or develop and sell Alice worlds?
