Go to the "how do I" sections of these forums, and check out the thread about importing/converting objects, here is the link for it since it seems people have a hard time finding it

http://alice.org/community/showthread.php?t=3411

Follow his steps, and he gave two video links to walk you through the process, and even I made a video on how to do it (look at my signature for the youtube link to get to my videos on alice)

It's best if you learn how to do it yourself since people enjoy helping, but very few enjoy converting since it's so boring of a task

The other problem is that the models themselves will take quite some time to convert, but even longer to divide properly into subparts.

At first, I was motivated by the novelty and the challenge of it. Now, however, it isn't new or difficult anymore. It's just tedious.

Also, some of my best work has gone into models that ended up as part of abandoned projects. It has a somewhat disappointing effect after awhile.

BTW, you posted a whole lot of street objects a while back together, I had them in my gallery until my computer was reset, you don't happen to still have them do you?

I do.

Gilman street model pack, right?

The guys who made those models were awesome. The site was pretty much dead when I found it, though. Too bad.

Anyways, it's uploading now. It's mediafire, which sucks, but doesn't cap out at 20MB (here), 10 MB (filechimp), or expire in a week (wikisend).

I don't really mind whatever file sharing site is used, I have loads of popup blocking, ad blocking and site rating addons and skipscreen addon to skip those annoying countdowns, clicking and captchas.
