After searching the web unsuccessfully for documentation on the behavior of the twenty primitive methods in Alice, I decided to write and publish my own documentation. I have completed that project, and the documentation is available at the link near the bottom of the page at the following URL:

http://www.dickbaldwin.com/toc.htm

The link reads: Learn to Program using Alice

The name of the document is: Appendix A Primitive Methods

This appendix explains the behavior of all twenty primitive methods. For most of the methods, one or more short Alice programs are provided to illustrate the behavior of the methods. Source code for the programs is included. In addition, the alice programs that illustrate the methods are available as Alice .a2w files in a zip file. A link to the zip file is provided in the Downloads section of the appendix.
