Hello Alice Community...
This isn't exactly a contest, but I thought I'd let you know what we have going on at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.
For several years, we have hosted a mini-day-camp for 6-9th graders each summer. At the camp, we teach various types of technology. This year, we are going to use Alice and teach programming concepts.
Camp runs for 3 hours every morning. The first week, June 11-15, we are going to have all girls (up to 40) for an "iTea Party". The second week, June 18-22, we will have a mixed group for "Camp Techno-Toons".
We see this as a great opportunity to get some younger kids excited about technology.
