I'm making a movie with alice for class, and im trying to figure out how i can do a scene change,is there a way to piece together different worlds so i can just build the scenes seperatly? im having alot of trouble placing different objects and grounds in the world window with all the other objects that have their showing set to false, but they are in the edit window and its making me crazy!!
thanks!

I'm a bit confused about your basic problem. If an object is set to "not showing", it dissappears from the World window and can't be selected by the mouse. It is still on the object list - because it still exists - but I don't see where this would be a problem.
If you are going to do your movie in scenes, you can make a separate world level method for each scene and then use a "When world starts do in order" event command to kick the whole thing off - or just make your first method contain the calls to everything else. In either case, all you will be working with are the objects that are active in a given scene. If you also set everything to "not showing" at the start - you can also control what appears and disappears in each scene in the individual methods.
I suggest you search the forums on various key words such as "movies", "scenes" or "projects" for other ideas on this and on combining scenes. For the latter subject, there really isn't a great solution.

In case you need some help in using DrJim's suggestion for using world-level methods to subdivide your movie into scenes, see the tutorial titled "130 The Program Development Cycle" at http://www.dickbaldwin.com/tocalice.htm
