Default To do something before reacing center of object - 08-27-2008, 05:54 PM

I'm working on something where i need to jump over an object and when i turn to face it, and run to it and do my jump method, i jumps when I'm in the center of the object. How do i make it so i will jump BEFORE the object?

did you try something like this?

if using the MOVE TO method

instead of using the MOVE TO method use the MOVE TOWARD method

MOVE TOWARD ((distance between person and object) - (2 meters))

jump

if controlling it with arrow keys

LOOP

IF ((DISTANCE between person and object is )less than (2 meters))

jump

Hope this is what you mean, you didn't explain much....

rick
