Default Point System - 03-16-2010, 04:34 PM

Well I am doing a little project for school and I am woundering how to do a point system, not real advanced game or anything but what my game is sorta like thoes typeing games.

You have a bunch of words coming down the screen and when you type a word it starts to disappear, how would I go about were when you type the last letter of the word the score in the bottom left goes up by 100.

Thanks in advance for your help!

create a variable for the score and then have the last line of code for the last letter of the word (variable "increment by 100")

Hey I am still kinda confused by your game that you made to show me, I get how it works but I can't seem to get it to work with my game, mind taking a look at it for a minute and see if you can add a part so that it adds 100 points when you type the D.

Thanks for your help!

1 more question lol, I want to have it so that it does that for other words, but when I have another word with a Letter that has been used before, and if that word is still up there, then it will give me the points without typeing the full word, if there a way I can have it so that if there is a word with the same letter in another word it won't give points to the other word without typing the whole word first?
