"Desktop" on desktop hangs Alice

Alice was hanging at the splash screen and using 100% of CPU. After I tried EVERYTHING else I found the solution. My son had put the "show desktop" link on his desktop (dual monitors) and called it simply "Desktop". Alice, for some reason, does not like this at all. Renaming it to something else fixed the problem and Alice runs fine. Strange but true.

I'm not surprised. I find Alice to be a buggy software with many 'features' that makes life difficult for users. =/
