Buoy's

Hopping someone could help me, am working on the Pick Up All Buoy program, I have got some if it done but am having problems having the boat pick the buoy its in front of, I am completely lost and not sure how to make it pick up the buoy creating a parameter, I can make a code for each individual buoy and that would work fine but to my understanding the book is asking to make one code with a parameter that will make the boat pick up any buoy that its in front of. Any Suggestions,

1) Dump the While world running, replace with starts for sway and my first method.
2) make my first method infinite call to check
3) Trouble shoot from there.
