kicking ball

need step by step help to make a person kick a ball i have tried but the whole leg came off

I hope you got help before now on this, but here is how I would approach this.
-First you have to select the "Add Objects" button.
-Then, you have to select the object you want to pose, in this case the person whose leg will kick the ball.
-Next, you select the affect subparts checkbox on the right hand side of the screen.
-Then you can use those tools to make your objects' body parts, etc. move separately so that you can make the different poses to make it look like he/she is kicking the ball.
-Once you have manipulated your object as you would like it, then you right click the object and click capture pose (for each pose). (You need to keep track of how many times you do this so that you know which pose is which.)

Then, when you are setting the method, you can put in set pose to whichever one you created that you would like. I hope this helps!
