Unhappy Problems with JAVA 3D - 11-13-2005, 05:01 AM

I'm having a little problem getting JAVA 3D to work. I've installed the JRE, latest version as well as JAVA 3d, but it just doesn't seem to work and i get an "Applet Crashed" message while trying to view my worlds in my web browser.

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks for bringing this up. I had meant to update the instructions on installing Java, Java 3D and Java Media Framework (and by updating the instructions I mean compensating for the lack of instructions). I will try to have something up by the end of Tuesday.

If you have a chance, email me your world and I will see if it runs on my machine.

Thanx for taking notice. I'll wait for the update.

My world is nothing much.....just a test. I just wanted to check if I can run it on a web page or not. I'm just starting out with Alice.

Sorry for the delay. I have uploaded a step-by-step tutorial getting the applet to run.

It is available on the front page as well as through the link on the applet page.
