Default Blender objects - 06-27-2011, 01:25 AM

After realizing that blender has an actual easy interface to use, I figured I am going to start learning to use it properly so I can make better models for the community (i'll still try to make tutorial videos as well) but I am really interested in making new models (especially since models from blender tend to look better straight from there instead of sketchup, personal opinion atleast)

So once I get objects made from using blender i'll most likely upload them here or back into my old thread with all the other objects I made and or converted.

That is good. We need more models around here. There should be full model packs.

That's great. Hope transition into other programs won't be too hard—you'll find blender is almost completely different from the other professional programs, or at least that's the general census.

yeah I noticed the interface is pretty scattered seeming, compared to 3D max,(since I started learning that to but I enjoy blender more) and creating model packs would be a great idea.

Blender? I have a question then. My version says in order to convert, I need to full version of blender. How do you get the full version?

http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/

go to that link, then download the windows 32 bit, click on where you live, so I clicks the little blue USA and it brings up the option to download, if it's the 2.58 version with python 3.2 built in then it's the one I use.

I downloaded it and installed it with no problem. It only says harmful because it can't define the Publisher.

well I already have it downloaded, but that is where I got it from, and it is the same link X gave in his tutorial on how to import objects. I havent experienced anything wrong from downloading it.(and my computer security also gave a warning about possible harmful download) but it wasn't.
