Amusement Park Rides

As a project in the high school technology class I teach, the students chose an amusement park ride to model from the website flatrides.com. The students used AutoDesk 3DsMax to model and link up the rides. They then used Alice to do the animation/simulation. The result of their work can be found at :

They are certainly not perfect models, but I was impressed with what the students designed having had no previous modeling experience.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free. We would like to make this an annual activity in this class.
