Default "Events" Problem - 05-11-2008, 01:15 PM

Some of you may be familiar with the Flight Simulator example world. Well, I would like to make a similar world of my own, without just adding to the example world. But I cannot figure out how to get the steering controls in the example world to my world. The steer left event tile, for example, looks like this:

While "⬅" is pressed
Begin: <none>
During: Biplane Turn at speed left Speed=TurnSpeed revolutions per second
End: <none>

I don't know where to find the "While "⬅" is pressed" is pressed part. I have found a when a key is TYPED tile, but no when a key is PRESSED.

Please help!

See http://www.dickbaldwin.com/alice/Alice0190.htm#Figure_1 and the text surrounding that figure.

Also go to http://www.dickbaldwin.com/alice/Alice0920.htm and search the document for "while a key is pressed"
