Default Seeing Values returned from Functions - 11-13-2005, 10:57 PM

I would like to be able to see the distances between objects, so that i can place them correctly, related to one another. is there a way to "ehco" the value returned from some of the built in functions to the screen...or a way to "display" a variable value?

having much trouble aligning objects in the world.

You can use the print command (located on the bottom shelf of tiles) to display values. For example, if you have two objects in your world, the chicken and the bunny, you can find the distance between the two by dragging the "<bunny> distance to" function onto the print tile, followed by dragging the chicken onto the empty variable slot.

Note, there is a bug in the print feature that doesn't print the correct object names.
