Mr. Kidnapper has a 1.5 Mbps intarwebs, which translates to about 200KB/s download speed, and a ~.6 Mbps upload rate, which translate to about 20KB/s upload speed (Hardly anyone needs to upload.) Yeaaaaah. Beat that. It's also why I don't like to upload anything. Had this intarwebs for about 12 years now.

This is why I do not like the move away from physical disks and towards downloading and streaming. Not only do I like to physically posses my game/movie etc, but also some people do not have the speeds required to stream things nicely, some people don't even have an internet connection.

Yes, it is very good, about as good as Jedi's.

I presume you both have fibre optic or something, there seems to be a vast difference between fibre optic and standard broadband, at least where I live there is.

Standard broadband = ~2-5 mb/s
Fibre optic = ~20 mb/s

Here in the UK, Virgin Media offer 100 mb/s broadband in limited areas, 50 mb/s in a wider range and 20 mb/s almost everywhere else.

I'm not exactly sure what I have, but as far as I know. My internet was upgraded to something better about 1 year ago.

Interestingly though, the fastest speeds available around my area are about 3Mb/s with ~0.9Mb/s being the slowest. Fibre optic is unavailable where I live. So a terrible connection would be expected.

Still, I've got a wonderful computer, I do a lot of offline stuff and I don't usually stream things, so the speeds I am faced with are super fast.
