An easy way is to create another "When world starts" event that references a short method that plays the background.
Then right-click the event button, and change it to a "While world is running" event.
This will loop the background music until the animation is stopped.
Other sounds you play during the animation will be layed on top of the background music.
Oops- That info was for Alice2.
In Alice3 you can add a new scene activation Listener that contains an infinite loop to play the background.
